I’m the guy who’s spent the last 15 years jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, leading soldiers through places most people only see on the news, and still making it home in time to grill steaks and argue about whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie.

—6’2”, built like I still have to pass a PT test tomorrow (because I do)😉

- Close-cropped dark hair, scars that each have a story, and a smile that apparently “should be illegal in uniform”

- Currently a Gunnery Sergeant in USMC; I deploy, I come back, I deploy again; but I’m at a point where I’m ready for the one constant I can’t find in the field

- Off-duty: bourbon on the porch, fly-fishing at dawn, fixing up my ‘72 Bronco with grease under my nails, and reading everything from Clausewitz to sci-fi paperbacks

What I bring:

- Loyalty that’s actually earned in fire, not just promised

- Hand-written letters from deployment (yes, I still do that)

What I’m looking for:

A strong, independent person who understands the life (or is brave enough to learn it). Someone who can hold down the fort when I’m gone for months, celebrate like crazy when I walk back through the door, and isn’t scared off by the fact that my job is literally on another level of intense. You don’t need to love the Army, but you’ve got to love the man in the uniform (and be okay with loving him out of it too).
